Inexpensive and Safe
The fun and fair rules make it safe to play unihockey without any protective equipment and in any size of gymnasium. The only thing required is a set of sticks and a face mask for the goalie. Since you take turns and play in shifts, just like ice hockey, one stick can easily be shared between two or three players. In addition, the goalie does not use a stick. For these reasons you only need 8 sticks to activate over 20 players.
