Second Most Popular Competitive Team

Male and Female
Even though the male athletes still dominate the sport,
unihockey has established itself as a major sport for women as well. In Sweden,
unihockey is now the second largest competitive (and recreational) team sport
for women and men. Soccer is just barely ahead.
Female and male athletes play with the same rules, and as
recreational sport mixed teams are very common.

What even more encouraging, unihockey has its largest number of participants in
the age group 15 - 29 years. That's the age group with the largest drop-out
percentage in most other sports.
